Two designers and the ‘Fashion Boulevard’

VietNamNet Bridge – Two young fashion designers, Do Manh Cuong and Hoang Xuan Son, impressed the audience by their latest collections at the “Fashion Boulevard” show in HCM City on July 19.

Fashion Boulevard is an annual fashion show by F magazine. The second show on July 19, 2011, featured the atmosphere of Paris, the world’s fashion kingdom, with Champs-Élysées avenue as the highlight.

The show attracted Vietnam’s top models – Thanh Hang, Hoang Yen, Ngoc Quyen, Phuong Mai – and pop star Ho Ngoc Ha, besides nearly 30 other Vietnamese and foreign models.

The show introduced collections by designers Do Manh Cuong and Hoang Xuan Son. While Son brought to the catwalk designs with the style of the 1970s, Cuong showcased “ready to wear” products.

The show closed impressively by Cuong’s five Haute Courture costumes, which use 1,000 meters of red cloth.
